Untitled.

1. Some cool stuff, all from Vogue UK.

This month's covergirl is 'Charlie's Angel's', 'My Sister's Keeper' and 'Shreks' Cameron Diaz. She is probably one of the prettiest people you will ever see on TV or on paper. The editorial is all about

My true hero, idol and soon to be best friend.

I need some new perfume.

2. My favourite books.

Solace of the Road is a story about a 15 year old girl, Holly, who's in care. She grew up in Ireland with her mam, and her mam had to flee. Holly was taken into care. She moves in with a couple, Fiona and Ray. Fiona recovered from cancer years ago, and when she had kimo and lost all her hair, she had a blonde wig. The kimo also left her body unable to reproduce. When they take in rough Holly, Holly finds the wig. With the wig and her life saving's, Holly sets out to Ireland to find her mam, with a new name: Solace.

The Boy in the Dress is a hilarious, yet sad story about a young boy. His mother left and left him with his not very understanding dad who doesn't believe in hugs. When he comes across fashion during a detention in which he comes across the most popular girl in school (who's in the slammer for wearing in appropriate clothing) he falls in love. He buys a copy of Vogue, which his dad confiscates, and get's into even more mischief wearing dresses.

Broken Soup - When the good-looking boy with the American accent presses the dropped negative into Rowan's hand, she's sure it's all a big mistake. But next moment he's gone, lost in the crowd of bustling shoppers. And she can't afford to lose her place in the checkout queue -- after all, if she doesn't take the groceries home, nobody else will. Rowan has more responsibilities than most girls her age. These days, she pretty much looks after her little sister single-handedly -- which doesn't leave much time for friends or fun. So when she finds out that Bee from school saw the whole thing, it piques her curiosity. Who was the boy? Why was he so insistent that the negative belonged to Rowan?

(The Broken soup sypnopsis is from Waterstones.co.uk, the other two were written my moi)

I'm a Hennes WHORE.

My Friend was making me laugh :)

Dress - £5
Sunglasses - £5.99
Necklace - model's own (I've always wanted to say that)
I know right? The sunglasses were more than the dress...? It made me laugh :) We only went in because it was my friends birthday and we hadn't got her a present (:
Like or hate?

I'm in an orbit all around you.

I actually wanted Germany to win Eurovision. I know that's the kind of thing that anyone would say, but I downloaded the song onto my iPod before the results, so neerrrr. ;)

Btw, if England had come above dead last, I would have been disappointed. We were crap.

I also quite like Belgium, the guy talking about his love for his guitar. My kinda song.

To the rest of Europe - I am truly sorry you had to sit all the way through our crap song. I'd never even heard of this Josh dude until Thursday. Plus, the song choice? I mean, seriously, what the hell?

xx

Braces.

1. I'm off school. I've got a thumping headache and a god awful stomache upset. Oh yeh, and to top it all off, I know have braces. I got them on Tuesday, (today's Friday) and they are KILLING me. There are these pointless bits on the sides of them which are giving me blisters. They're light blue, which I kinda like, but they hurt like hell.

2. My sister's taking her driving test today. :/. I really don't know what's going to happen. I think it's a 50/50. If she doesn't pass they'll be ALOT of tears. Trust me, that's just her. :/

3. I really want a cool sweatshirt. I'm not sure why, I just think they're quite cool. I saw this one on Ebay. It's a Vouge cover with Kate Moss on it. After seeing Kate Moss in Topshop in Liverpool, I have felt a strange connection with her (;. I love this vintage sweatshirt, the black and grey, the baggy oversized cut, I just love it. It's also available in the opposite colours (the motif is white, and the background is black).

Successful shopping.

1. Vintage Market.
Today, I went to a vintage Market. My best friend, Bee, was going to come, but she got in a fight with her parents, and they said she couldn't. So, I went with just my mum. We saw some really cool stalls, there are a couple of links below to some cool websites.

Because Bee couldn't come, and I'm a good friend, I got Bee some earrings :)

It was mostly vintage pieces, all sorts of stuff - Bags, jewelery, Antiques, furniture and, of course, clothes. I got a dress and a key ring, which I know sounds really babyish - 'I got a key ring with Scooby Do on it!' Na, it was a piece of wood with flowers painted on it. It was, like, £3. So I didn't pass up the offer.

There were loads of dresses, and now I'm kinda regretting buying the one I got, although I do love it. It's faded and it's got these little Chinese people with flowers and parisoles printed on it. It's got that scrunchy material at the sides on the top

The annoying thing about shopping with me mum, was all she thought about was practicality. I had to explain to her that there's a fine line between vintage and old granny... or was it the other way round?

2. National trust.

Yesterday, I went to a national trust house with a big park. We walked round and I took some pictures, which I'll put up some other time. There was a gift shop and they soly mostly soap and umbrellas and crumby stuff like that, but they also sold hats. They had some flat grandad caps and some straw grandad hats. I got a straw one, and I love it :). I wasn't even put off when the old man behind me in the queue for the check out was buying the hat.
The image is at the top - I couldn't move it :D

I Love Summer.

I love the summer. Every year, it's different. Spring. My favourite thing from Summer '09 was the oversized bows. I loved that they weren't accesories, they were actually sowed onto the pieces, like it was as one. I just loved the bows.

This summer, my favourite thing is the maxi dress. One of my friends on facebook had pictures of her dad and step-mums wedding, and her step sister had long Luna Lovegood style hair, a head band round her and this pink, black, white and orange print maxi dress. I've got a picture, but I thought she probably wouldn't want her face on my blog soo I painted out her face. Don't you just love the dress?

That's it...

I'm officially saving up for a camera. If anyone's got any suggestions - TELL ME!!

I like the look of this one. It's about £60 on Amazon, but I would have to buy a memory card which are about £10, but still :D.

Any ideas?

She likes red lipstick...

I do. I LOVE red lipstick. Ever since VOUGE Nov'09 with the Georgia Jagger (Youngest daughter of Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall Georgia May Jagger) photo shoot. She had this messy mane of blode hair and bright red lipstick. I was so jealous it was unbelievable. Now she's the face of Rimmel London. I don't really like Georgia Jagger. I don't find the gap in her teeth attractive, I find it ugly. However, I LOVE her look. She just like her dad, a complete rockstar.

I tried recreating the look, but it didn't really work. I had to use my webcam :/

And we'll kick 'em to the curb unless they look like Georgia Jagger
xo.

My AWESOME tights

My sister got them for me for my 9th birthday or something. I love them.

The girl at the train station.

I saw this girl at the train station the other day, and she was wearing the quirkiest clothes. She had these huge square glasses with thick frames and hi-hi top converses. She had this black bob with a roughly cut fringe, worn out red skinny's, a yellow tucked-in tank top, a huge plain black belt and a sky blue pinstriped blazer with huge navy cuffs and collar. As soon as I got home I recreated the look on the nearest piece of paper. I loved the way she used simple primary colours and wasn't affraid of looking really cool. :)

Old and worn out.

If somethings new and shiny, then it's boring. Clothes need a life, a story, to make them interesting. I remember things throuhg clothes. I look at something and think 'Oooo, I remember wearing that when I _______ and it was AMAZING'. Clothes are supposed to bring your inside to the outside.

You know what sucks about this blog?

Photos. I have none. And it sucks. My sister's the only one in the house with a proper camera that works, and she won't let me touch it. :@. Once I have a camera I will actually be able to do stuff about fashion.

It's just me.

No one else. Nobody. I'm irreplacable. It's just me, and if you don't like it, that's what the red 'X' is for in the top right corner of your screen.

Today I am wearing...

- Blue skinny jeans (H&M)
- Grey lo tops (Converses)
- Grey tank top (H&M)
- Black hat (Ermm, ?)
- Big blue mens skirt (Dad's old one)
- Silver braclet (A comic relief fair. ?)

I am sorry so much of my wardrobe is so H&M based, but that's just they way I roll. I have a sneaky suspicion that my hat is from H&M aswell, but I'm really not sure. :D
